Franklin High School

The Franklin HS Modernization project included blending the existing 100 year-old campus with new modern facilities

—including the addition of new gymnasiums, sports medicine and culinary arts classrooms and spaces focusing on STEM and Law Career pathways. A new fine and performing arts center is the centerpiece of the new campus.

Apollo’s scope was full mechanical, and included lead VDC. Early in the project, Apollo was contracted to assist in the coordination of a redesign necessitated by budget changes Apollo installed a new variable air system with gas fired boilers and chillers, and all associated piping and ductwork. A compressed air system was installed in the science wing, along with dust collection and fume exhaust systems in the wood and metal shop areas.
