63,000 SF of new construction and 27,000 SF of renovation including an expansion on the 9th and 10th floors as well as a central energy plant expansion. The plumbing consisted of a new storm drain system for the 10th floor roof tied into the existing system, sanitary waste and vent piping for multiple plumbing fixtures and medical equipment located throughout the project. Medical gas piping complete with outlets, alarm panels and zone valve boxes for the patient care rooms in the patient tower and CCU area. The hydronic and HVAC systems consisted of a new 900 ton chiller, cooling towers, multiple chilled/heating/condenser water pumps throughout the hospital, 2 new air handling units, new steam station. The systems were installed to support the added load of the 2 new floors of the patient tower as well as the CCU buildout and future expansions.
