The Triangle Building is a 226,000 SF office building located in the Lower Downtown Neighborhood of Denver, and is one of several new properties near Union Station.
This building was constructed on the last empty lot on the Southern side of the 16th Street Mall, in a busy downtown setting.
Apollo utilized Integrated Project Management and extensive coordination with the General Contractor and other trades to plan for and schedule each day's activities to allow daily just in time material deliveries to a congested job site.
The plumbing for the project consisted of the storm drain system piping for the roof, piped to the lower level of the parking garage, all sanitary waste & vent and domestic water piping throughout the 10 levels for public toilet rooms on each level as well as well as the plumbing fixtures for the toilet rooms. Apollo installed a 1000 gallon sand & oil interceptor for the numerous floor drains located in the parking garage, 500 gallon sanitary main ejector vault and a 500 gallon grease interceptor located in the P1 level of the parking garage. The hydronic system consisted of (2) chillers, (3) heat exchangers, (4) chilled water pumps and (2) condenser water pumps located in the chiller room of the P1 parking area. The 2 levels of the underground parking garage is tempered with multiple hot water FCU’s located in various locations of the UG garage and (2) large exhaust/CO2 fans. The 10 levels of the main building consisted of an AHU with heating /chilled water coils and circulation pump for each level with associated duct for a core & shell install. The penthouse and roof had (3) boilers, (4) heating water pumps, cooling towers, sand filter system, (1) make-up air unit, 2) general exhaust fans and (2) stair pressurization fans.
